FAQs
Where can I purchase a gift?
Your presence is present enough, but if you’d like to give a gift, please contribute to our Newlywed Fund. Find instructions on how to contribute on our Zola page. Or keep things easy, venmo Sam at @sam-ross1. The last four digits of his phone number are 2929.
How do I RSVP? Do I need to RSVP?
Yes, please RSVP using the form on this website by March 1st. We will have assigned seating, so we’d love to know if you are or are not joining us so we can save your seat and cater to your dietary preferences.
Can I bring a plus one?
All invited guests will be listed on the physical envelope your invitation arrives in. Please only RSVP for yourself and invited guests. We’ve tried to include as many invitees as possible in our emails. Some guests may not be included in emails if we weren’t able to get their email address. If in doubt, please reach out to Lauren & Sam to clarify. We have a limited capacity, so we appreciate your grace and understanding. We’re so excited to celebrate with you!
When should I arrive at & depart from Sonoma?
Plan to arrive either Friday or Saturday morning. If you arrive on Friday, make a weekend of enjoying Sonoma Friday night and Saturday morning. Check out our recommendations on the Travel Guide section. For those who want to enjoy the Brunch & Pool Party on Sunday, we encourage you to fly out Sunday night or Monday, but we absolutely understand if you can’t stick around.
What will the weather be like?
In June, temperatures typically peak in the low-80s during the day (bring sunscreen), and can get down to the mid-50s at night. Afternoons and nights can get breezy, so don’t forget to bring a jacket or coat. We’ll let you know if the weather changes drastically as we get closer to the event.
Where should I stay?
All lodging recommendations can be found in the Accommodations section.
What should I wear?
The dress code is Festive Formal. To learn more & get inspired, check out the Attire section. The wedding will take place outdoors, so don’t forget sunscreen and sunglasses, and a jacket or coat for the evening.
Where will the wedding take place?
The wedding will take place at Sam’s family home at 21865 Hyde Rd. in Sonoma, CA, affectionately called: “Rancho Not So Grande.”
When should I arrive to the wedding?
Arrive at 3:30pm on the wedding day (Saturday, June 17th) to enjoy a welcome drink and play some Bocce before the ceremony.
Will there be parking?
Yes, there will be parking for those who choose to drive. There will be parking on the front lawn of the house as well as ample parking lining the streets around the house. You are also welcome to leave your car overnight if you take a taxi home, please just be mindful of the neighbors.
Will transportation be provided?
We have arranged transportation to and from the Sonoma Creek Inn for our guests who are staying in the room block. Ubers are available, but sometimes not the most reliable, so we recommend booking ahead or utilizing one of the many car services available in Sonoma.
Can I bring my kids?
We love your kids, but we want you to enjoy a parent’s night out on us. Leave the young ones at home and party like it’s 1999. If in doubt, invited guests are listed on the physical envelope your invitation will arrive in.
Can I bring my dog?
We also love your dog, but we want you to enjoy a fur-less night out on us. Leave the pup at home and party like it’s 2011. If in doubt, only hair-of-the-dogs were invited to the wedding. We do love dogs, though, we swear.
What food & drink will be served?
Please join us for a welcome drink when you arrive. We’ll have an Aperitivo Hour after the ceremony with Italian bites, spritzes and an open bar, followed by dinner, dessert, and more drinking. Please indicate any dietary restrictions on the RSVP form.
Who can I contact if I have additional questions?
If you are a member of the Ross or Bagnatori extended families, please reach out to Lisa or Andy. Otherwise, please feel free to reach out to Sam or Lauren.
